Epson has confirmed a UK release for its upcoming line of 4K ‘enhanced’ home cinema projectors, setting new low price points for the technology. Panasonic will launch its first 4K UHD Blu-ray player in the UK mid-April. Priced at £599, the UB900 combines UHD playback with audiophile performance and extensive audio file compatibility. It will also be the first 4K source device certified by THX. The company has inked a deal with Warner Home Video to bundle UHD Blu-rays of San Andreas and multi-awarding winning Mad Max Fury Road discs with the player.
